Welcome to the site for the Rock Solid Climbing Club!

We are based in the North of England and have 30 members. We are committed to developing young climbers to reach their full potential in the sport and to providing training and events to this purpose. All young climbers who are enthusiastic and wishing to improve their standards, no matter what grade, are welcome to join.

We are sponsored by:

The team is coached by four time British Bouldering Champion, World Cup winner and qualified Sports Scientist Andrew Earl, and former British Bouldering Team member Chris Graham. News

Jul 22, 2008 Another great performance from team members at last weekend's British Bouldering Championships. 4 out of the 16 finalists were club members with great results for Bethany Walton, 5th in the girls and Ben Patterson, Ali Pow and Jamie Naden finishing 6th, 7th and 8th respectively in the boys. Also great effort to those who just missed out on the finals, and to the younger members competing for the first time.
Jul 1, 2008 A strong performance from the North East and Lakes team at the BRYCS national finals, with podium places for Mairi Teasdale and Jack Graham in their 7-9 categories and the team finishing 5th place overall. Well done everyone who took part!
